My name is LoriAnn. I am owned & loved by my 2 shar pei's, Mia-10 and Curtis-5. Curtis has FSF. He has been taking your HyVitality since June, when I started him on Colchicine per my Vet, Dr. N., from Island Rescue. I believe she has been in contact with you about Curtis and he is now on Thyroid medication.
I am writing to tell you since being on HyVitality, all his mucin bubbles are gone, his coat is amazing and his usual seasonal allergy is down to very little goopy eye sometimes. In the past, his eyes were crusted with goop and his coat would fall out and he was so itchy.
I do not know too much of Curtis's past. I adopted him through peis and strays. I know he was taken from a hoarder/puppy mill, where there were 170+ dogs. There were 5 or 6 other dogs they know from his litter and I have been in contact with them. None has shown signs of FSF. Curtis is also the smallest at 40 pounds.
Curtis is very sweet, very loyal, a momma's boy and loves our 19 month old daughter, Samantha. Curtis is like having a Jack Russel in a Shar pei coat... he is hyper and leaps in the air chasing falling leaves... such a happy-go-lucky guy. When he started having aggression issues, my Vet, Dr. N. reached out to you and we found discovered that his thyroid count was low. So far... so good with the thyroid medication and next month he goes in for his 3 month check up/blood work.
I wanted to personally thank you for taking the time to speak with my vet who really cares about Curtis. And I wanted to tell you how great Curtis is doing on HyVitality.
Curtis is not only my dog, but our daughters dog. Every morning the first words out of her mouth are, "Hi Curt!" He sleeps in her room during the day when she naps, and any time she wakes during the night he is waiting outside her door for me to rock her to sleep! He sits by me in the rocking chair and waits. He is a wonderful dog.
Best Wishes,
LoriAnn & Curtis

I have a male Shar-pei that is 19 months old. He had his first attack (fever and limping with inflammation in his rear hocks and front legs) around 4 months old. He would limp for one to two weeks and then be ok. The lameness would switch legs mainly staying on the left side of his body, but moving to the front leg also. Every month this was happening. I was afraid to put him on prescription drugs. My vet really didn't know what was going on with Leo. My breeder put me in contact Dr. Tintle. She is very caring and helpful. I started Leo on HyVitality in November 2010, after the worst attack he had ever had (It lasted 3 weeks).
Since starting Leo on HyVitality his legs look much better, inflammation is down, and better yet, No Attacks.
Thank You

I am the proud owner of multiple shar pei, as they say, "you just can’t have one!” I have 5 in all, no showing, no breeding, just enjoying. Chloe, who was just three at the time, started fevering. This was just at the time that HyVitality was being introduced, I quickly ordered some and started her on it right away. She has only had one very slight fever and I blame that on the stress of getting a new puppy. She has been on HyV since then (one year now) and never fevered again.
Around the same time, I noticed Bubba had some CM. Not bad but something I wanted to address before it got any worse. I started him on HyV and bubbles have almost all disappeared.
Sampson, my daughter’s is 2 ½ years and was tested and discovered to have low thyroid. He has been treated with medication and is now in normal range. He had spare hair on his hocks. The thyroid medication was helping with hair regrowth, but since he has been on HyV, it is amazing how much faster the growth!
Poor Sampson also developed follicular conjunctivitis. My daughter Megan thought his entropian had come back, but turned out to be inflammation in his eyes. He was put on prednisone eye drops which developed an ulcer in one of his eyes 10 days later. I was flushing his eyes out with saline flush. two and three times a day. Nothing was working. She took him back to the vet and got different drops. Still the poor dog was no better, squinting and pawing. This went on for a month. While my daughter was on vacation, I started him on HyV. Within 5 days his eyes cleared up! Almost all the redness is gone no ulcer and no squinting!

I am fairly new to the Hy-Vitality family, but am so glad I found you all. I have had Chinese Shar-Pei for almost 20 years, and never knew you all even existed. I just received I think my 3rd, or 4th order from you today, but I had to mention how well my peibies are doing on this. Ginger's lil bubbles on her arms, legs, neck and cheeks are slowly starting to go away, and Skipper who has been a very finicky eater since day one (they will be 5 in December) has an appetite like I never thought I would see from him. I don't know if Skipper's increased appetite has anything to do with the Hy-Vitality, or not - but, I have done nothing else different with them. Also, he has for the most part always had loose stools, and now his stools are PERFECT. They are litter-mates, and I will attach my favorite pic of them - I just wanted to thank you so much for coming up with this - I feel so bad that I never knew about this before with my other peibies. My Gilligan had the "bubbles" on his skin as well, and my vet told me that, that's just shar-pei skin, some will have the bubbles, and some won't - it does them no harm, and there is nothing that can be done for it......Thanks again, and take care -
